How To Sign Video Call in Sign Language

A critical word to know in sign language, now that the hybrid workplace is becoming extremely popularized. I mean, how often are you hopping onto Zoom these days?

Signing “Videoconference”

  1. Hand position 1: Using both hands, start from the “O” shape where the thumb is touching the rest of the curled fingers.
  2. Hand position 2: From the “O” hand-shape, extend the hand into an open “5” shape
  3. Placement: Place both hands in front of you, with the backs of your hands touching each other
  4. Movement: With the back of your hands touching each other, expand the “O” hand-shape to the “5” hand-shape

Note

You can also use the sign for "video call" to mean "video chat" or "video meeting."
