How to Sign "How's the weather?" in Sign Langauge

Office small talk 101: Talk about the weather! 

With this sign, you'll be equipped to chat with any Deaf or hard-of-hearing colleague.

Signing “Weather”

  1. Handshape: Form both hands into a “open 5” handshape
  2. Hand location: Start with your hands in front of your face.
  3. Movement: Starting at the top, bring your hands downward in a squiggly motion, emulating weather falling from the sky.
  4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.

Signing “Good”

  1. Handshape: Form your dominant into a “closed 5” handshape
  2. Sign Location: Start with your hand placed touching the bottom of your chin.
  3. Movement: Move your hand from your chin forward and downward.
  4. Facial expression: Keep a positive facial expression, matching the positivity of the word good.
