How to Sign “Gray” in Sign Language

Colors are likely to come up in any conversation! Whether it’s trying talking about an article of clothing or someone’s favorite color, you’ll be prepared!

Signing “Gray”

  1. Hand shape: Form both hands into an open “5” handshape.
  2. Hand location: In front of body, hand raised to about chest level.
  3. Movement: Bring both hands back and forth, crossing your fingers every time they pass.
  4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.
