How to Sign “Rabbit” in Sign Language

Rabbits, with their soft fur and adorable twitching noses, bring joy and warmth wherever they hop. Many of you may even have these precious pets! Learn to sign 'rabbit' in American Sign Language (ASL)!

Signing “Rabbit”

  1. Hand shape: Extend both hands into an ‘H’ handshape, representing the rabbit’s ears.
  2. Hand location: Hold your hands across your chest, with your dominant hand on top of the other.
  3. Movement: Raise your ‘H’ fingers up and down, similar to the movement of a rabbit’s ears perking up.
  4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.
