How to Sign “Drive” in Sign Language

Driving can be both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, but did you know that the average person spends about 6 months of their life waiting at red lights?

Signing “Drive”

  1. Hand shape: Start with your hands in an “S” handshape.
  2. Hand location: Bring your hands in front of your body at about chest level, knuckles facing the ground.
  3. Movement: Move your hands up and down as if driving a steering wheel.
  4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.
