How to Sign “Floor” in Sign Language

Whether you’re talking about the dance floor or an office floor, you’ve got the tools to sign them!

Signing “Floor”

  1. Hand shape: Form both hands into a “closed-5” handshape.
  2. Hand location: Bring both hands in front of your body, palms facing downward.
  3. Movement: Move both hands outward, as if moving your hands along the floor.
  4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.
