How to Sign “Laugh” in Sign Language

Did you know that according to a study, laughing for just 10 to 15 minutes can burn up to 40 calories? That's just another reason to let out a good belly laugh!

Signing “Laugh”

  1. Hand shape: Start with your hands in an “L” handshape.
  2. Hand location: Bring your hands to your face, touching each side of your mouth.
  3. Movement: Brush your index finger upwards, as if tracing your smile along your cheeks.
  4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.
