How to Sign “Swim” in Sign Language

Did you know that swimming is the only sport that works out all of your body's major muscle groups at the same time? Not only is it a fun and refreshing way to stay active, but it also provides a full-body workout!

Signing “Swim”

  1. Hand shape: Start with your hands in a “closed-5” handshape.
  2. Hand location: Bring your hands in front of your body at about chest level, palms down.
  3. Movement: Move both fingers
  4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.
