How to Sign “Wall” in Sign Language

Metaphorical or physical, here’s how to sign wall. If you’re talking about several walls, you can show corners with your hands.

Signing “Wall”

  1. Hand shape: Form both hands into a “closed-5” handshape.
  2. Hand location: Bring both hands in front of your body, palms facing outward.
  3. Movement: Move both hands outward, as if moving your hands along the wall.
  4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.
